- 1. Practical design
The boiler can be easily removed from the transport pallet without the need for special equipment. In almost all cases, the boiler can be moved into position without removing the boiler casing. The door hinge side can also be changed without having to modify the drive components.
- 2. Emissions, efficiency & performance
Emission levels are well below the statutory limits without the need for additional separation or filtration systems. BRUNNER log wood boilers therefore reliably comply with the carbon monoxide and particulate matter limits specified by Stage 2 of the German 1st Federal Immission Control Ordinance (1. BImSchV).
- 3. Extra-large filling chamber
The extra-large filling chamber opening makes loading the boiler with half-metre logs particularly convenient. With a filling chamber capacity of up to 215 litres – equivalent to approximately 75 kg of beech wood – heating becomes even more convenient.
- 4. Complete heating solution
As standard, the boiler control board includes controls for the boiler, heating circuits, domestic hot water and solar thermal system as well as an optional additional heat generator, such as an existing gas or oil boiler. The system can also be expanded with the BRUNNER Heating Centre. Particularly convenient: everything is controlled via a single control system with one consistent user interface.
- 5. Automatic ignition as standard
BRUNNER log wood boilers come with automatic ignition as standard, using a ceramic ignition element. This provides energy-efficient ignition and automatically starts a new combustion cycle when the buffer storage tank temperature falls below the defined level – for maximum convenience.
- 6. Solid cast-iron door
The solid, high-quality cast-iron door features a minimalist design and is easy to open, making everyday heating particularly convenient. As it consists of a single piece, the door only needs to be opened once for loading. The door hinge side can also be changed without modifying the drive components.
- 7. Automatic door locking
An additional safety feature: the combustion chamber door of our log wood boilers can only be opened when the system is in a safe operating state. This prevents the door from being opened accidentally during combustion.
- 8. Easy maintenance
The log wood heating system operates remarkably quietly and is designed for low-maintenance operation. The boiler automatically notifies you via the control unit or smartphone when cleaning or maintenance is required. Almost all components are accessible from the front. The ignition element and servomotors are easily accessible behind the central inspection door. The hand lever for mechanical heat exchanger cleaning can be installed on either the left or right-hand side.
- 9. Simple, intuitive operation
Everything at a glance: BRUNNER log wood heating systems feature an integrated touchscreen that clearly displays the current heating status of the building.
The user-friendly interface allows all heating functions to be conveniently controlled – not just those of the log wood heating system. A second display or the BRUNNER Energy Manager can also be installed as an option.
- 10. Clean, timeless design
BRUNNER log wood boilers are high-quality constructions made from robust cast iron produced in our own manufacturing facilities – Made in Bavaria.
- 11. Energy-efficient induced draught fan
The induced draught fan ensures the ideal air supply for optimum, low-emission combustion. Thanks to variable speed control, it also consumes very little electricity.
- 12. Return flow & buffer storage tank control
The return temperature boost fitted as standard ensures technically reliable operation.
If excess heat is generated during combustion, it is automatically transferred to the buffer storage tank. When required, this stored heat is distributed through the heating system again.
- 13. Particle separator
The optional particle separator further reduces emissions. It also allows you to apply for the additional €2,500 subsidy.
- 14. Ash drawer & cleaning set
The integrated ash drawer makes removing ash particularly easy. A practical cleaning set is also included.

Reduced dust emissions with particle separator
The speed-controlled induced draught fan regulates the air supply during combustion. With the optional particle separator, dust emissions can be reduced even further.
Heating demand met quickly
The boiler ignites according to demand – only when the building requires heat and the buffer storage tank is empty. To ensure that the boiler can quickly meet the demand for domestic hot water, it reaches maximum output right from the start of the combustion cycle.
Maximum convenience
The large loading door is easy to open, consists of a single element and features an extra-large opening – making loading particularly convenient. As a rule, the boiler only needs to be loaded once a day. Ignition is handled automatically by the boiler whenever required. Its robust construction and solid, premium feel complete the high level of operating convenience.

The BRUNNER log wood heating system provides a complete heating solution including the entire heating control system. The clearly arranged display shows the current heating status at a glance and makes it easy to operate and adjust the entire heating system.

Log wood and PV combined
With the combination of photovoltaics and a BRUNNER log wood heating system, two energy sources are available for heat supply. While the log wood boiler provides heat particularly during the heating season, surplus PV electricity can be used, for example, for domestic hot water preparation or to support the heating system.
The BRUNNER Energy Manager provides a clear overview of the energy flows throughout the home – from heating and domestic hot water to charging an electric vehicle. Its modern user interface shows at a glance how heat and electricity are distributed between your heating system, domestic hot water and EV charging.
Control your heating system on the go
with myBRUNNER
With myBRUNNER access, you can conveniently access your heating system via the internet. Using our app on a smartphone or tablet makes this particularly easy. It provides the familiar user interface of the touch display, allowing you to use all functions whether you are at home or on the go. The app is also very useful for status notifications. Setting up online access takes just five minutes and, if desired, you can receive email notifications with useful information about the status of your heating system.

Pur
The classic solution for existing buildings, with adjacent storage tanks for heating and domestic hot water. In versions with internal coiled-tube heat exchangers, a solar thermal system can be integrated. This variant is implemented using hydraulic components supplied by the specialist trade.
